The VSX-935 is a home theater receiver that supports high-quality audio and video formats, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for immersive surround sound, and Ultra HD, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision for improved image quality. It is also equipped with a range of streaming options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DTS Play-Fi, SONOS system, and Apple AirPlay 2, and has a Powered Zone 2 feature with a dedicated DAC and Personal Preset buttons. The device is compatible with the HDMI 2.1 specification, which supports 8K video resolution and high refresh rates, as well as Dynamic HDR formats, and has features designed to enhance the gaming experience. It also supports E-ARC, which simplifies connectivity and allows for the use of high-bitrate audio formats, and has bi-directional Bluetooth technology for audio streaming. The device includes a Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System (MCACC) to adjust the sound according to the listening room and speakers, and is Roon-tested for compatibility with Roon's music streaming and organization software.
