Estimated from today, excluding weekends. The Hertz ML 280.3 is a Mille Legend car audio tweeter with a Tetolon-fibre dome, a die-cast aluminium face plate and a neodymium magnet. The dome geometry and face plate were optimised with finite-element simulation to lower distortion and improve frequency response, and the rear acoustic chamber volume was increased by 50%, giving a 900 Hz resonance frequency. Grilles are included.
Key features
- Neodymium magnet optimised with FEA simulation
- Pure copper short-circuit ring for very high frequency extension
- Die-cast aluminium face plate
- Tetolon fibre dome for lower distortion and improved dispersion
- Frame and rear load chamber from a CNC-machined solid aluminium block
- Rear chamber sized for a 900 Hz Fs, allowing a lower crossover point
