It detects smoke via optical sensor, carbon monoxide via electrochemical sensor, and temperature rise via a dual-threshold heat sensor that responds to both absolute temperature and rate of rise. The RB suffix indicates a rechargeable internal battery, charged via USB-C — no disposable battery replacements required. Black finish suits modern interiors. A white variant is also available.
