Ajax FireProtect 2 Indoor White (AJAX-FP-2-RB-INDR-W) — wireless smoke and heat detector with built-in battery for indoor installation, providing dual-technology fire detection as part of the Ajax security ecosystem.
The FireProtect 2 combines a photoelectric smoke sensor with a thermistor-based heat sensor, triggering on either or both — reducing false alarms from steam and cooking fumes while ensuring no real fire event goes undetected. It communicates wirelessly with Ajax Hub over the Jeweller protocol, sending an instant alert to the Ajax app and the monitoring centre the moment a threshold is crossed. No wiring is required — battery powered with up to 7 years of life. The second-generation FireProtect adds a CO (carbon monoxide) sensor option on some variants; this indoor model detects smoke and heat.
