Modified sine wave output on battery suits most electronic equipment, while a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) provides surge protection on the input. The smart USB communication port supports downloadable monitoring software for graceful shutdown during extended outages. A cold-start function allows equipment to run directly from battery when mains power is unavailable.
