The AK Jr delivers an output level of 1.95 VRMS, a 14% increase over the AK100's 1.5 VRMS. Its output impedance is reduced to 2 Ohms from the AK100’s 22 Ohms, resulting in significantly improved sound fidelity. Compatible with a wide range of earphones and headphones, the AK Jr eliminates the need for a separate amplifier.

The AK Jr supports DSD, the next-generation digital audio format for high-resolution sound. It converts 2.8 MHz DSD files to PCM, allowing you to enjoy a broader range of audio formats.
