The AudioQuest Chocolate HDMI cable enhances its predecessors by adding 2.5% silver plating to solid-core conductors, offering performance close to solid silver cables at a more affordable price. It uses Solid High-Density Polyethylene insulation and precise geometry to maximise HDMI signal integrity.

Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) insulation is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets that do not absorb or release energy, reducing distortion. The stiffness of this insulation maintains stable conductor relationships along the cable length, ensuring consistent impedance and minimal signal loss.

All AudioQuest HDMI cables are directional, with conductors optimised for digital audio signals. The Audio Return Channel conductors run in the opposite direction to enhance performance. Arrows on the connectors clearly indicate the correct orientation for installation.
