The AudioQuest Forest HDMI cable embodies AudioQuest’s core philosophies on cable design. It features solid Long-Grain Copper conductors, foamed High-Density Polyethylene insulation, and precise signal geometry to maximise HDMI performance, pushing sonic and video quality to new levels.

Solid 0.5% Silver Conductors: Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter. The silver-plated conductors excel in very high-frequency HDMI audio and video applications, as signals travel primarily on the conductor surface. The high-purity silver surface offers performance close to solid silver cables at a cost closer to solid copper cables.

Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation: This air-filled insulation minimises energy absorption and distortion, reducing the out-of-focus effect common with other materials. Polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile, enhancing signal clarity.

High-Speed Data Capacity: All AudioQuest HDMI cables up to 10 metres meet or exceed the 10.2 Gbps maximum data rate for HDMI and are certified High Speed with Ethernet. They support all current HDMI audio/video features, including multichannel high-resolution audio, 1080p, 4K, 3D video, and 120Hz/240Hz/600Hz displays.

Ethernet and Audio Return Channel Enabled: Cables up to 10 metres support High Speed with Ethernet. From 12 to 20 metres, cables are Standard Speed with Ethernet.

Directional Design: All AudioQuest HDMI cables are directional, optimised by listening tests for each batch of conductors. The Audio Return Channel conductors run in the opposite direction to ensure best performance. Arrows on connectors indicate correct signal flow for superior sound and video quality.
