CYP CH-304 DigitalAudio S/PDIFExtender

CYP CH-304 — digital audio S/PDIF extender transmitting coaxial or optical S/PDIF signals over a single CAT6 cable at distances up to 150m, supporting LPCM 2-channel, Dolby Digital, and DTS 5.1-channel audio at up to 96kHz sampling rate.

The CH-304 extends S/PDIF digital audio connections beyond the limits of standard coaxial or optical cables using standard CAT6 structured cabling already installed in the building. Only one of the two units (transmitter and receiver) needs to be powered for both to operate. Power is supplied via a 5V USB connection or 5V DC power supply — only one power type should be used per unit. Suitable for distributed audio installations, conference rooms, and AV systems where digital audio must be carried over long distances.
