Performance and Design

The CS8080 is engineered to excel as a centre channel speaker, handling over 50% of program material in surround sound setups. Its built-in subwoofer, powered by a 300 Watt digital amplifier with integrated DSP, delivers full-range performance comparable to many floor-standing speakers.

Featuring a D'Appolito driver array with two 5-1/4 inch BDSS midrange drivers flanking a 1 inch pure aluminium dome tweeter, it provides wide dispersion and crystal-clear dialogue intelligibility, even off-axis.

The enclosure is constructed from heavy MDF layers with internal bracing to eliminate resonance and cabinet vibrations, preserving sonic purity. The tapered front reduces diffraction distortion, while high gloss polymer composite end caps add a premium finish.
