What is the DN-200BR Used For?

The DN-200BR enables wireless stereo Bluetooth audio reception for professional audio systems. After pairing your Bluetooth device, audio signals are output via balanced XLR or unbalanced 1/4-inch connectors to your preferred playback equipment such as mixers, loudspeakers, or amplifiers.

Bluetooth Range and Connectivity

Supporting Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, the DN-200BR offers an effective wireless range of up to 25 metres (82 feet), making it ideal for larger rooms and commercial spaces. Note that only one Bluetooth device can be paired at a time.

How to Pair and Unpair

1. Connect the DN-200BR to a power source using the included adapter; the status light will flash slowly.
2. Ensure your Bluetooth device is on and within range. The DN-200BR will automatically reconnect to the last paired device if available.
3. To pair a new device, press and hold the Pair button on the DN-200BR for 3 seconds until the status light flashes rapidly, then release.
4. On your Bluetooth device, select "DN-200BR" from the Bluetooth settings. For older devices, enter PIN 0000 if prompted.
5. Start playing audio. Adjust volume levels in this order for optimal sound: your Bluetooth device, DN-200BR Level Knob, mixer input and main output levels (if applicable), then loudspeakers.

Note: Set volume levels as high as possible without distortion or clipping. The DN-200BR does not receive audio from phone calls; disabling cellular connection during use is recommended.

To unpair, either disconnect from DN-200BR via your Bluetooth device’s settings or press and hold the Pair button on the DN-200BR for 3 seconds until it becomes available to pair with another device.

Antenna Details

The DN-200BR includes a magnetic mouse-type antenna with a 2-metre (6-foot) cable. Older models (pre-2017) used a non-removable stick antenna.

While antenna extension is not recommended, some users have successfully extended it using a 50-ohm cable up to 15 metres (50 feet). This is done at the user's own risk and is not supported by the manufacturer.

Bluetooth signal strength can vary depending on environmental factors such as walls, other wireless signals, and obstructions between the transmitter and receiver.

Bluetooth Connection Interference

Using the DN-200BR near microwave ovens or other strong wireless devices can interfere with Bluetooth reception.

Compatible Audio Equipment

The DN-200BR outputs connect to mixers, loudspeakers, or amplification systems and is compatible with professional audio setups requiring balanced or unbalanced inputs.
