Green SC connectors are the international standard colour for APC (8° angled) single mode connections. The APC polish reduces back-reflection to below −60dB, making these connectors essential for CATV, FTTx, and long-haul WDM applications where Rayleigh back-scatter degrades signal quality. Field-termination requires no specialised equipment — a pre-polished ferrule, built-in verification window, and self-centering groove enable fast, reliable on-site termination. Accommodates cable from 250µm up to 3.0mm.
