Midas DN-9620 — AES50 stream expander multiplying two incoming AES50 streams into up to eight separate output streams, extending digital audio distribution across large live sound networks via standard Cat5/5e cable. The DN-9620 takes two AES50 input streams and multiplies each to four outputs, providing eight AES50 streams in total. Streams extend up to 100 metres over Cat5/5e cable with no degradation, enabling stage layouts impractical with direct cabling. Dual-redundant AES50 operation maintains signal integrity across the network. The 1U rackmount unit integrates seamlessly with all Midas digital consoles and I/O units, maintaining full AES50 protocol compliance and accurate clock synchronisation across all connected devices.
