Pure Link PLK-XLRM-RCA XLR Male to RCA Cable 1.8m - a 1.8-metre cable with an XLR male connector at one end and an RCA (phono) connector at the other, for connecting balanced professional audio outputs to unbalanced consumer or semi-pro equipment.

The PLK-XLRM-RCA is used when a professional audio device with balanced XLR outputs needs to connect to equipment with RCA (phono) inputs - for example, connecting a professional mixing console to a consumer amplifier or recording interface, or routing balanced line from a stage rack to consumer monitors. The 1.8-metre length is suited to short patch-bay runs and desktop setups. Note that this cable connects a balanced output to an unbalanced input; a DI box or balun is preferable where signal integrity over longer runs is critical.
