The MOD WS 5 Kit XLR-5F combines the large WS 5 windshield size with a 5-pin XLR female (XLR-5F) output connector. The 5-pin XLR routes both stereo channels through a single cable — standard for ORTF, XY, and MS stereo mic arrays housed within a single blimp assembly. The WS 5 accommodates the larger stereo mic bodies and suspension assemblies not suited to the WS 3 or WS 4 XLR-5F variants. Lyre suspension provides full handling noise and vibration isolation.
