It provides a stable, weighted platform for desktop microphone placement via its 3/8-inch thread, compatible with PCS-U universal mounts (sold separately), standard mic clips, or any other 3/8-inch accessory. Choose this base-only option when you already have compatible mounting hardware, or when building a custom desk mic configuration. The base can also be used as a replacement part in existing PCS installations.
