The STC-5704E supports pass-through style modular plugs (EZ-RJ45 and EZ-RJ11) where the cable wires extend through the plug face for clean trimming after crimping. The ratchet mechanism applies consistent crimping force on every termination, preventing under-crimped connectors that cause intermittent faults. The steel frame is made from mild carbon steel and HRC heat-treated for durability across high-volume structured cabling work.
