The DP340 offers greater raw storage capacity than the 2-bay DP320 in the same ActiveProtect appliance platform. It consolidates backup management for mixed workloads including VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, databases, and physical servers. Backups are verified and disaster recovery plans can be tested in a sandboxed environment. Recovery options include bare-metal restore, file-level recovery, and instant P2V/V2V restoration. Ransomware protection safeguards backup integrity. Suited to mid-size businesses with higher retention or workload volume requirements than the 2-bay model.
