The midrange and bass drivers feature copper-clad pole pieces and are mounted on die-cast aluminium chassis secured with high-tensile bolts to maintain structural rigidity and accurate transient response. The SLPP bass reflex system, inspired by Gilbert Briggs’ original design, features a downward-facing port that distributes airflow through slot ports in the plinth, reducing unwanted turbulence and improving bass efficiency. The sophisticated crossover network, developed with over 90 years of expertise, uses only the highest grade acoustically transparent components to ensure every musical detail is preserved. Cabinet Design The Aura 4 cabinets are crafted with smooth curves to disperse sound evenly and reduce reflections. The multi-layer wood construction beneath the polished lacquer finish minimises panel resonance and prevents unwanted sound leakage, resulting in clear and natural audio reproduction. Application The Aura series includes stand-mount models (Aura 1 and 2) with optional custom-engineered stands, as well as floorstanding options (Aura 3 and 4).
