The Ajax GlassProtect listens continuously for the distinct frequency pattern of shattering glass using a built-in microphone and signal processor. It distinguishes genuine glass break events from other loud sounds, minimising false alarms. Mount it on a wall or ceiling within 9m of the protected glazing. It communicates wirelessly via Jeweller to the Ajax Hub. For rooms where both motion and glass break coverage is needed from one device, see the CombiProtect. Black finish suits modern and dark-toned interiors. A white variant is also available.
