Uni-Q technology
KEF built much of its identity around Uni-Q, a driver architecture that places the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange cone. The goal is point-source behaviour: treble and midrange arrive as a coherent wavefront, so imaging remains stable across a wider listening area. This is valuable in real homes where the listener is not always locked into one perfect seat. Uni-Q does not remove the need for good placement, but it can make KEF systems more forgiving and more convincing for both stereo imaging and surround movement.
