Compatibility and Interchangeability

The 2M Series cartridges feature specific coil and magnet configurations. The 2M 78 is interchangeable with the 2M Mono model. Other interchangeable groups include:

• 2M Bronze and 2M Black
• 2M Mono and 2M 78

For Rega turntables and tonearms, spacers may be required due to the lower cartridge height. Acoustic Signature's Spacer Set allows precise height adjustment (0.5 mm to 3.5 mm in 0.5 mm increments) without removing the tonearm. Typically, 3.2 - 4 mm spacers are sufficient for the 2M cartridge.

Stylus Replacement
