SmartBus SB-IRM-UNIR Remote ControlModule

SmartBus SB-IRM-UN — S-Bus IR remote control module that allows SmartBus automation systems to send and receive infrared commands, enabling control of IR-based devices and macro triggering from IR remotes.

The SB-IRM-UN bridges SmartBus S-Bus networks with infrared-controlled devices such as televisions, air conditioners, projectors, and AV receivers. In transmit mode it sends learned IR codes on command from any SmartBus controller, keypad, or schedule. In receive mode it interprets incoming IR remote presses and maps them to SmartBus macros or scenes. This makes it straightforward to incorporate legacy IR devices into a fully automated SmartBus room or whole-home system without replacing existing remote-controlled equipment.
