Its 7" woofer features a wood fibre cone reinforced with fine grain paper pulp and wood fibres, ensuring a stiff, lightweight structure that reproduces micro details with high accuracy. The woofer's patented SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) disk reduces mechanical distortion, lowering third-order distortion for a relaxed midrange and detailed sound. The 29 mm soft dome tweeter is specially developed for the Oberon series, constructed from ultra-light wave weave fabric for a larger bandwidth and smooth transition from midrange to treble. Its design ensures wide dispersion and low coloration, delivering a coherent and natural sound. The cabinet is made from high-density CNC-machined MDF with internal bracing and acoustic damping material to eliminate resonance and improve bass precision. Rear bass ports optimise bass performance by utilising wall reflections. The Oberon 3 is designed for easy integration into any room without the need for toe-in adjustments.
