DALI Drivers All DALI drivers, including those in the OPTICON VOKAL, are designed, produced, and manufactured in-house, guaranteeing consistent performance and reliability. DALI MDF Cabinets The OPTICON series cabinets are crafted in DALI’s woodworking facility in Denmark, from cutting the Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) to applying the vinyl finish, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. SMC Technology The woofer magnet motor system uses Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) for its pole piece, delivering high magnetic conductivity and low electrical conductivity. This technology enhances magnet performance without traditional drawbacks. Product Overview The OPTICON VOKAL is designed to be the heart of your home cinema, delivering clear dialogue and detailed soundtracks. It features a 6½ inch low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer, a Hybrid Tweeter module, and a front-firing bass port. It complements any OPTICON compact speakers and matches the power of the OPTICON 8. Its front-facing bass ports allow easy placement on most Hi-Fi furniture, making it ideal for both aesthetic and practical home cinema setups. It also performs excellently when placed out in the open. The OPTICON VOKAL is part of the EISA award-winning OPTICON 5.1 system, alongside the OPTICON 6 and OPTICON 2 speakers. Legacy and Technology The OPTICON VOKAL features the same low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer found in DALI’s flagship EPICON series, combined with the unique SMC magnet motor system and a reworked Hybrid Tweeter module also used in the RUBICON series. Together with an individual bass reflex port, these technologies deliver audio exactly as the recording artist intended.
