Designed specifically for multimedia networks, the W7 supports bandwidth-intensive, low-latency AV traffic with TruStream™ technology and VLAN support to prioritise and segregate traffic efficiently. Automated 5 GHz band steering ensures devices connect to the faster, less congested band, improving overall network performance. Security The W7 supports WPA and WPA2 encryption standards, favouring WPA2 with AES and CCMP for robust security. It offers two guest networks (one per band) and can detect and block unauthorized devices via its management interface or the C36 controller for enhanced network protection.
