Aten 2L-2801 — 305m bulk spool of low-skew Cat5e cable, engineered to minimise colour phase and timing errors when transmitting R/G/B video signals over long distances in KVM extender and AV distribution installations.

Standard Cat5e cable pairs are twisted at different rates, which introduces "skew" — colour phase and timing differences between the R, G, and B video channels that cause fringing, smearing, and colour errors at long cable runs. The 2L-2801 uses matched-twist construction to keep skew extremely low, preserving sharp, accurate colour at the distances used in data centres, digital signage systems, and AV extender installations. Supplied as a 305m spool for field-cut installation. Compatible with ATEN KVM extenders, VGA extenders, and HDBaseT extenders that transmit over Cat5e.
