Aten CE600 — DVI and USB KVM extender with RS-232 serial, allowing a remote console (keyboard, DVI monitor, and mouse) to access a computer over Cat5e cable at resolutions up to 1920x1200.

The Aten CE600 separates a computer from its console — keyboard, DVI monitor, and mouse — allowing the display and input devices to be located remotely while the system unit remains in a secure, dust-free, or temperature-controlled location. Connection between the local unit (at the computer) and the remote console unit runs over Cat5e cable. DVI Single Link video supports resolutions up to 1920x1200. A second Cat5e cable carries HDCP, RS-232 serial, and microphone signals, enabling full serial console control and content-protected video. RS-232 serial pass-through allows serial devices such as barcode scanners or control systems to be used at the remote console location. Suitable for factory environments, construction sites, clean rooms, and any installation where placing the PC in a secure location while maintaining remote console access is required.
