Aten AD400E — 4-channel mic/line pre-amp with built-in DSP and Dante/AES67 network audio output for professional conferencing and commercial AV installations.

The Aten AD400E converts four channels of balanced or unbalanced microphone and line-level audio into Dante AoIP packets, replacing analogue cabling with cost-effective Cat cable infrastructure. AES67 compliance ensures interoperability with non-Dante audio networking equipment. Professional preamp circuitry delivers wide dynamic range, high headroom, and a strong Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). Phantom power (+48V) is individually selectable per channel, supporting condenser microphones. A built-in DSP stores 24 presets and is configurable via the ATEN Audio Wizard PC application, ATEN VK control system, LAN, or RS-232. Parallel Compression uses four additional side-chain inputs to blend an original signal with a compressed copy for polished sound. PoE support provides redundancy without additional wiring. Dante Daisy Chaining simplifies infrastructure. The half-rack chassis fits in a rack or mounts under a desk or on a flat surface. Suitable for boardrooms, conference rooms, and hospitality venues.
