LC duplex patch leads are the most common fibre connection in modern structured cabling, used between switches, SFP modules, media converters, and patch panels. The 10m length suits floor-to-floor or cross-room runs within buildings. OM2 multimode supports Gigabit Ethernet at up to 550m and 10GbE at shorter distances.
