JBL Alpha 603C — 6.5" (16.5cm) 2-way component car speaker set with separate woofer, silk-dome tweeter, and crossover network, delivering improved soundstage and imaging over coaxial speakers.

Unlike coaxial speakers that mount woofer and tweeter together, the Alpha 603C ships as a component set allowing the tweeter to be positioned independently for optimal imaging — door mirror triangle, A-pillar, or dash — while the woofer handles bass from the door cavity. The result is a wider and more accurate soundstage than a coaxial design can achieve. The polypropylene woofer cone handles automotive temperature and humidity, and the silk-dome tweeter produces smooth high-frequency extension to 20kHz. At 91dB sensitivity it performs well with factory head units before amplification is added. 150W peak power handling accommodates future amplifier upgrades.
