Both MM and MC gain stages feature discrete bipolar transistor power supplies for minimal signal noise and accurate amplification. The V10 is highly optimisable to suit individual setups. MM capacitance can be adjusted between 100 and 467 pF, while MC impedance is adjustable between 33 and 550 ohms or fixed at 47 kohm. Gain can be increased by 5, 10, or 12 dB on both inputs. The built-in subsonic filter reduces low-frequency rumble, and an adjustable auto standby function conserves power when not in use.
