Imix CX234XL 4-Way Mono/Stereo Electronic Crossover - a rack-mount 4-way electronic crossover that splits an audio signal into up to four frequency bands for active multi-amplifier speaker systems. The CX234XL divides a signal into separate frequency bands - sub, bass, mid, and high - with each output feeding a dedicated amplifier channel and driver. In mono 4-way mode it processes a single input into four band outputs; in stereo mode it operates as a 2-way stereo crossover with two channels each split into two bands. This allows integrators to build active bi-amp, tri-amp, or quad-amp speaker systems where each driver is powered independently, improving efficiency and control compared to passive crossover networks.
