Tascam Model 24

The Tascam Model 24 is a versatile, multi-track mixer that integrates the comfort of analog controls with modern digital recording capabilities. Designed for both live and studio environments, this all-in-one mixer provides everything needed to record, mix, and playback audio from a variety of sources including microphones, external devices, and instrument-level inputs. The Model 24 features 22 channels, which include 20 balanced XLR mic inputs with switchable phantom power and two stereo line inputs. Each channel is equipped with a 3-band EQ and a one-knob compressor allowing for immediate dynamic control and precise tone shaping. Integrated into the design is a 24-track digital recorder that records directly to SD cards, enabling seamless transitions between live performances and recording sessions without the need for additional devices. The USB audio interface functionality transforms the Model 24 into a reliable hub for your computer-based recording setup, supporting both Windows and MacOS platforms. Ideal for project studios, rehearsals, and live shows, the Tascam Model 24 combines the tactile response and immediacy of classic analog consoles with the precision and flexibility of digital. Users appreciate the familiar layout of the analog controls, which offers straightforward operations without deep menu-diving that hampers immediacy in live situations. The console’s versatility is further enhanced by Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for wireless streaming of music during breaks in a live set or when integrating virtual instruments during a recording session. Built with robust materials and designed to endure the demands of the road, the Tascam Model 24 is suitable for bands, event venues, and educational facilities looking for an adaptable and durable audio interface and recorder.
