The Pure Link PLK-DMX15 is a 15-metre DMX512 lighting control data cable with XLR connectors on both ends. DMX cables use 110-ohm impedance to correctly transmit the DMX512 digital control protocol used for addressing and controlling lighting dimmers, LED fixtures, moving heads, and other intelligent lighting equipment. While DMX cables use XLR connectors, they are not interchangeable with standard microphone cables (which use 75-ohm impedance) for reliable DMX signal transmission over longer runs.
