Since the introduction of the CD in 1982, Rotel has continuously refined its technology and circuitry to deliver extraordinary sound from compact discs. The RCD-1572 builds on this legacy with a purpose-built CD mechanism and advanced circuit refinements, ensuring accurate and detailed playback.

The Wolfson WM8740 digital filter and stereo digital-to-analogue converter processes digital signals up to 24-bit depth at sampling rates from 8 kHz to 192 kHz. This high-speed capability provides reserve performance to maintain accurate reproduction under all conditions.

Rotel’s decades of experience are evident in the post-converter analogue circuitry, which carefully bridges the DAC output to RCA and XLR connectors. All components, including resistors, capacitors, and inductors, are selected based on rigorous testing and listening sessions to ensure superior sound quality.
