The DS723+ suits home office and small business file sharing, backup, and light surveillance workloads. Two 1 GbE ports support basic link aggregation, and an optional 10 GbE or M.2 SSD add-on card provides upgrade paths. Full Synology DSM integration gives access to Drive, Hyper Backup, Active Backup, and Surveillance Station. RAM can be upgraded for more demanding applications.
