The Imix HD51 is an 80W compression driver with a 1.5-inch throat diameter for use with 1.5-inch compatible horns and waveguides. The 1.5-inch throat is a common specification in mid-to-large PA horn speakers, offering a good balance between output efficiency and high-frequency extension compared to smaller 1-inch drivers. Suited to replacement use in existing horn-loaded PA cabinets, custom high-frequency speaker builds, and DIY PA system construction. Cross over from the low-frequency driver at approximately 1–2kHz using an active or passive crossover.
